Enprom was selected by Equinor and the Polenergia Group as the contractor responsible for preparing special power cable routes along the approximately 14-kilometre onshore connection corridor linking the Baltic Sea coast near Ustka to the two onshore substations being built at Pęplino for the Bałtyk 2 and Bałtyk 3 offshore wind farm export grid connections. Enprom's scope covers civil works for the onshore cable route including trenching, duct installation, cable pulling and reinstatement of the cable corridor, working in coordination with Tele-Fonika Kable which is manufacturing the onshore power cables at its Bydgoszcz facility. The onshore cable route runs from the HDD transition joint bays near the Ustka landfall through to the Pęplino substation area and onward towards the PSE Słupsk-Wierzbięcino 400 kV transmission substation. Polenergia reported in August 2024 that Enprom's onshore installation works were scheduled to begin in Q4 2024 with completion of the onshore cable construction targeted for July 2026. As of early 2026, the onshore cable route was reported to be approximately 70 percent complete.
