Geofizyka Toruń SA was contracted by PGE Baltica to carry out a geophysical survey for the Baltica 9 offshore wind farm. The scope included high-resolution reflection seismic survey with simultaneous bathymetric measurement to support assessment of seabed and subsurface conditions and to identify geohazards such as shallow gas pockets, paleochannels, and boulder clay layers. Offshore acquisition was scheduled to start in the first half of May 2025 and run to mid-June 2025, with analytical work and delivery of results expected by November 2025.
