In a 2023 update on key contracts for the Baltica Offshore Wind Farm, PGE and Ørsted indicated that, subject to final investment decisions, the 1 GW Baltica 3 stage is expected to be fully operational no later than by the end of 2029, meaning the project would have entered full commercial operation at its intended capacity by that time. PGE’s project information page further notes that Baltica 2 and Baltica 3 are to be commissioned by 2030.
