ABL was contracted by PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna and Ørsted to provide marine warranty survey (MWS) services supporting the offshore construction of the 1.5 GW Baltica 2 offshore wind farm in the Polish Baltic Sea. ABL’s scope covered warranted marine transportation and installation activities for the 107 wind turbines, including technical review and approval of project documentation (drawings and calculations), marine assurance and risk services such as vessel suitability surveys and DP trials where required, and on-site attendance to review, approve, and oversee warranted operations. The work was managed from ABL’s Hamburg operation with support from its wider European office network.
