In February 2024, Ørsted and PGE awarded a contract to a Polish consortium of ROMGOS Gwiazdowscy and ZRB Janicki to execute horizontal directional drilling under the beach for routing 275 kV cable lines and to construct connection couplers for the Baltica 2 grid connection.
