Also in January 2024, GE Vernova and Polimex Mostostal were chosen as general contractors for Baltica 2’s onshore connection infrastructure, with responsibility for constructing the onshore electrical substations and transmission lines that will integrate the offshore wind farm into Poland’s national power grid.
