According to the developers’ timeline, installation of export power cables for Baltica 2 is scheduled to start in 2026, after completion of seabed preparation. Once export cables and offshore substations are in place, inter-array cables linking the turbine foundations to the substations will be installed, with Boskalis contracted to transport and lay both export and array cables for the project.
