Description
Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne S.A. (PSE), Poland’s transmission system operator, issued technical requirements for connecting the Baltica 1 offshore wind farm (up to 896 MW) to the national transmission grid. The requirements covered connection capacity parameters and specified transmission infrastructure development expenditures to be borne by both PGE and PSE to enable grid connection and power evacuation from the planned offshore wind farm located about 80 km offshore near Łeba. The issuance supported the project’s progression towards a connection agreement and subsequent permitting and environmental work.
