The European Investment Bank signed loan agreements on 14 and 19 September 2023 to provide approximately EUR 609 million in financing for the Baltic Power offshore wind farm project in Poland, including its connection infrastructure. The funding supports the development, construction and operation of the up to 1.2 GW project promoted by Baltic Power Sp. z o.o., covering energy infrastructure in the Polish Exclusive Economic Zone of the Baltic Sea and associated grid connection works.
