Description
ABB (now Hitachi Energy) was turnkey contractor for the Baltic Cable HVDC link, delivering both converter stations (Herrenwyk DE, Kruseberg SE) with LCC thyristor technology, and the 450 kV mass-impregnated submarine cable manufactured at ABB Karlskrona factory. Commissioned December 1994.
