On 21 February 2015, the 400 MW Anholt Offshore Wind Farm was taken fully offline for four weeks after a fault on Energinet.dk’s export cable connecting the offshore substation to shore, interrupting transmission of power to the Danish grid while the issue was investigated and repaired.
