By 30 October 2015, Energinet.dk had started a major repair and replacement campaign on the Anholt export cable, working with NKT Cables to replace two sections identified as at risk—the first approximately 400 metres of submarine cable from Grenå and the last 4 kilometres before the offshore substation, in total about 4.4 km of cable.
