In October 2012, the Anholt Offshore Wind Farm delivered its first electricity to the Danish grid via Energinet.dk’s offshore transformer platform and associated 220 kV export cable from the platform to shore and onward to the Trige substation, marking initial energisation and first power transmission on the Anholt Export Cable system.
