Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) stated (28 Feb 2023) that Aminth (as part of CIP’s UK–Europe interconnector portfolio) would have "start of operations between 2030 and 2032". Given Ofgem’s 12 Nov 2024 Window 3 IPA decision did not approve Aminth for a cap-and-floor regime in principle (and the project is on hold following 2024 GB grid/revenue setbacks), that operations window is now stale. Aligning with the project’s delayed outlook for full commercial operations (now projected 2036), we project first power in 2036 (year-end anchor).
