DELAYED +5yr (May 2026): Previous commercial-operations expectation (c. 2030–2032) is now stale: Ofgem’s Window 3 Initial Project Assessment decision (12 Nov 2024) did not grant Aminth a cap-and-floor regime in principle, and Ofgem notes the regime window targeted projects likely to connect prior to end-2032; Aminth was rejected with deliverability/viability concerns. With the project already on hold following loss of its GB grid connection and the cap-and-floor rejection, resumption would require a new grid route and a future revenue-window success; an in-service/COD before 2032 is no longer realistic. Pushed to an indicative post-2035 timeframe. --- Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners plans for the Aminth interconnector, as part of a 4.2 GW portfolio linking the UK with Denmark, Belgium and Germany, to start commercial operations between 2030 and 2032; this reflects the current scheduled window for the project to become fully operational.
