Description
Norddeutschen Seekabelwerken manufactured the submarine cable system used at the alpha ventus offshore wind farm, including the 30 kV inter-array cables that collect power from groups of turbines and transmit it to the offshore substation platform. The array cable system is MVAC (30 kV) and is recorded as 16 km of subsea route length for the wind farm’s internal electrical network.
