On 19 July 2011, SEAS-NVE Holding A/S issued its supply tender (CPV 31321220) for a replacement 12 kV submarine cable to Agersø and Omø, specifying delivery by 31 July 2012 and delivery on 1-2 drums implying a single cable system. The tender was awarded to NKT Cables A/S (listed as supplier under CPV 31321220/31321400 in the Danish public procurement records), replacing the approximately 50-year-old existing asset. The contract scope included design, manufacture and delivery of a three-core PEX-insulated sea-armoured cable with 95 mm² aluminium conductor and longitudinally water-tight design, capable of operating in water depths up to 40 metres. A fibre optic co-laid cable was also supplied as part of the project. Recorded during manual audit review 2026-04-14.
