TÜV SÜD Industrie Service GmbH is the industrial services arm within TÜV SÜD’s INDUSTRY segment, supporting customers across manufacturing, energy, construction, facility management and environmental technology. Based in Germany with sites including Munich, Hamburg and Dresden, its experts provide interdisciplinary, project-based solutions focused on industrial safety, cost and risk management, health and safety, and environmental protection. Within the wider TÜV SÜD Group – which organises its activities into INDUSTRY, MOBILITY and CERTIFICATION and generated €3.43 billion in revenue in 2024 – Industrie Service delivers consulting, testing, inspection, certification and training services, closely aligned to sector-specific requirements and to digitalisation, cybersecurity and sustainability-oriented innovations. In the energy and offshore wind value chain, TÜV SÜD Industrie Service offers project certification, technical due diligence, site assessment, manufacturing control, periodic testing and inspection. It supports planners, suppliers and installers, investors, operators, banks and authorities from planning and construction through grid connection, operation, maintenance and servicing. The company is an offshore wind farm certification body approved by the German Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency and is internationally accredited for onshore and offshore wind turbine and project certification, as well as for wind measurements, energy yield calculations, power performance testing and load measurements to IEC 61400 and other national and international standards. Beyond wind, it provides energy certification services for green electricity, biogas/biomethane, biofuels, green hydrogen and renewable chemistry, including its “GreenMethane” and “GreenHydrogen” schemes, which certify production, trading and distribution along the value chain and support compliance with German renewable energy and biofuel sustainability regulations.
