GoBe Consultants Ltd is an independent environmental and planning consultancy specialising in offshore and coastal development, particularly offshore wind and wider marine renewables. Based in the UK with core offices in Devon and Glasgow, it provides high‑quality strategic and project‑specific advice to offshore energy, marine aggregates, subsea cables, ports, coastal infrastructure and public sector clients. The company integrates planning advice with Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and environmental services, including Habitats Regulations Assessment, marine and coastal ecology, ornithology, marine processes, GIS and data management, commercial fisheries support, and policy and research. GoBe works across the full project lifecycle from early site selection and Crown Estate bid and feasibility support, through consenting and examination of nationally significant infrastructure projects, to post‑consent compliance and construction-phase environmental management in UK, Irish and increasingly North American offshore wind markets. GoBe is recognised as a leading consultancy in the marine renewable energy sector and in UK offshore wind NSIP projects, having supported more than 26 GW of offshore wind capacity in the UK and been involved in 46 offshore wind projects, providing major inputs to over half of UK and Ireland offshore wind schemes. Its work for projects such as Sofia Offshore Wind Farm includes assessing and mitigating underwater noise impacts on marine mammals, developing Habitats Regulations Assessments and Site Integrity Plans, preparing UXO clearance and piling mitigation protocols, securing marine licences, and discharging consent conditions through environmental management and monitoring plans.
