ENPROM is an engineering and construction group focused on high‑ and extra‑high‑voltage power infrastructure and related energy projects. Established in 2011 in Warsaw, it has grown into one of the largest electrical power construction enterprises in Poland and expanded internationally through subsidiaries including ENPROM GmbH in Germany and dedicated HV and wind units. The company operates as a general contractor (EPC), delivering turnkey design, construction, reconstruction and modernisation of 110 kV, 220 kV and 400 kV overhead and cable lines, power substations and associated fibre‑optic and telecommunications infrastructure. ENPROM maintains its own design office and engineering teams, provides legal and permitting support, and offers project management, technical audits and maintenance services across the full lifecycle of grid assets and renewable energy investments.
The group works for the Polish transmission system operator PSE and regional distribution companies such as PGE, Tauron, Energa and Enea, and has executed large-scale projects in Denmark, Ireland, Lithuania and Germany. Flagship contracts include the 400 kV interconnection between the Polish and Lithuanian transmission systems, 400 kV lines in Poland delivered in “design and build” schemes, framework and line construction work for the Danish TSO, and replacement of more than 600 km of OPGW on 220 kV and 400 kV lines. ENPROM is increasingly active in supporting renewable integration, from preparing and implementing onshore renewable projects to routing and building land cable connections for offshore wind farms such as Baltic Power and the Bałtyk 2 and Bałtyk 3 projects.
ENPROM invests heavily in R&D and innovation, supported by multiple grants from the Polish National Centre for Research and Development for new 110 kV and 400 kV tower types, specialized foundations for difficult ground conditions, a pole‑lifting device that avoids line outages, and an automated monitoring system for critical transmission infrastructure. The company also develops tower concepts for international markets, including 380 kV four‑circuit lines in Saudi Arabia. Across its Polish and German operations ENPROM emphasises safety, integrated ISO‑certified quality, environmental and occupational health systems, and positions its work as a contributor to Poland’s energy transition and Germany’s Energiewende by enabling reliable transmission of electricity from renewable sources.
