Propulsion system with 2 x aft azimuth thrusters rated 3 eMW each and 2 x bow tunnel thrusters rated 2 eMW each, providing DP2 capability. The vessel uses diesel generators equipped with SCR NOx-reduction systems and these generators are ready for biodiesel blends. Position-keeping for shallow-water operations is supported by an 8-point mooring system with a pull-ahead arrangement able to sustain a maximum tension of 100 tons.
