Two 225 kV export submarine cables, each 27 km, between La Barre-de-Monts landfall and the offshore substation (double liaison sous-marine).
RTE was responsible for the grid connection works for the Yeu-Noirmoutier offshore wind farm, including installing a double 225 kV export link from the offshore substation to shore, constructing the landfall jointing chamber at La Barre-de-Monts, building the onshore underground cable link to Soullans, and delivering the new onshore electrical substation near Soullans. RTE began offshore installation of the first 225 kV export cable in March 2024 using the Cable Enterprise vessel and planned installation of the second cable in spring 2024, with connection and testing completed ahead of the 2025 energisation target.
