Description
Wessex Archaeology carried out archaeological assessment of the marine geophysical dataset acquired for the Xlinks Morocco–UK Project. The assessment (covering sidescan sonar, multibeam bathymetry, magnetometer and sub‑bottom profiler data acquired in 2023) characterised known and previously unidentified seabed features, evaluated data suitability for EIA purposes, and recommended targeted pre‑construction follow‑up survey where additional resolution was required to inform mitigation and the offshore archaeology Written Scheme of Investigation.
