Offshore construction at the Windanker offshore wind farm began with the installation of the first monopile foundation in the German Baltic Sea. Iberdrola and its suppliers Navantia Seanergies and Windar Renovables provided the XXL monopiles, which Van Oord installed using the heavy-lift vessel Svanen, marking the official start of offshore works for the 315 MW project scheduled to enter operation in late 2026.
