Description
Siemens Gamesa (through the legacy Areva/Adwen turbine platform referenced in contemporaneous reporting) supplied the 70 × 5 MW M5000-135 / AD 5-135 offshore wind turbines for Iberdrola’s 350 MW Wikinger offshore wind farm in the German Baltic Sea. Reporting stated the order value was €550 million and included a turbine service agreement for up to ten years. The turbines were manufactured at facilities in Bremerhaven and Stade (Germany).
