In December 2014, Iberdrola Renovables signed a contract with Bladt Industries (CS Wind Offshore) to supply 41 four-legged jacket foundations and 164 pin piles for the Wikinger offshore wind farm, with fabrication carried out at Bladt’s Lindø facilities during 2015–2016. The jackets, weighing about 650 tonnes each with a 23 x 23 metre footprint, are designed for installation in water depths of up to 42 metres in the German Baltic Sea site.
