Copper Consultancy was engaged by SP Energy Networks to provide pre-application consultation and stakeholder engagement support for the Western Link 2 project. The work comprised tailored pre-application consultation activities, strategic stakeholder engagement and targeted communications to support the project through the planning system, including community and statutory stakeholder engagement and preparation for planning submissions. The engagement commenced in early September 2025 and supported the project owner’s consultation and consenting strategy as Western Link 2 progressed toward detailed design and planning applications.
