Description
Ramboll provided the design for the Westermost Rough offshore substation (offshore substation design contract awarded in 2011) for DONG Energy’s 210 MW Westermost Rough offshore wind farm off the Yorkshire coast. The design scope related to the offshore substation that collects 33 kV array power and steps up voltage for export to shore, forming part of the project’s electrical transmission system ahead of commissioning in 2015.
