Offshore construction at Westermost Rough started in late February 2014 when GeoSea’s installation vessel Innovation installed the first of 35 monopile foundations at the site approximately 8 km off the Holderness coast, marking the beginning of the main offshore construction phase including further foundations, the offshore substation, cabling and later turbine installation.
