The 210 MW Westermost Rough offshore wind farm, comprising 35 Siemens 6 MW direct-drive turbines located 8 km off the Holderness coast, entered commercial operation in June 2015 following completion of construction and commissioning, and has since been generating power for the UK grid over an expected operational life of about 25 years.
