On 31 March 2014, DONG Energy A/S entered into an agreement to sell 50% of Westermost Rough Limited, the project company developing the Westermost Rough wind farm and its associated transmission assets, to Marubeni Corporation and UK Green Investment Bank plc, with each new investor taking a 25% stake. Following this transaction, the wind farm and its transmission assets, including the offshore substation, export cable and onshore substation, were jointly owned by DONG (50%), Marubeni (25%) and UK Green Investment Bank (25%), with DONG managing construction under a Construction Management Agreement.
