VSMC, contracted by DONG Energy, laid and buried approximately 11 km of 170 kV export cable along the East Yorkshire coast near Hull in Q3 2013, connecting the Westermost Rough offshore wind farm site to the landfall at Tunstall. By June 2014, Orsted confirmed the export cable had been successfully installed. Note: Q3 2013 start date is from the VSMC contract announcement; completion confirmed by Orsted Jun 2014 press release.
