These entries are shown under the project’s documentation alongside their respective licence references, indicating that the licences associated with construction of the generating station and export transmission assets have moved from application status into licensed status on that date. The same portal view situates these licences within a broader package of consent and determination documents for West of Orkney, including an EIA Public Notice of Determination for the Section 36 consent dated 2025-07-01, and decision notices and associated assessments for the generating station, offshore transmission infrastructure, and Section 36 consent dated 2025-06-27. Together, these records provide official confirmation that, by 10 July 2025, Marine Scotland had issued activity-specific marine licences authorising offshore construction of both the wind farm’s generating station and its transmission infrastructure off the west coast of Hoy, Orkney, under licence numbers 00010559 and 00010561.
