On 4 September 2024, Offshore Wind Power Limited’s consortium partners Corio Generation, TotalEnergies and RIDG awarded Ramboll a contract to deliver Front End Engineering Design (FEED) services for the 2 GW West of Orkney Windfarm, covering monopile and jacket foundation options. Ramboll will develop foundation blueprints, provide technical information on steel quantities and risk mitigation, advise on potential fabrication supply chain options and prepare CAPEX estimates to support selection of the preferred fixed-bottom foundation concept ahead of construction.
