In 2023, the project completed its offshore geotechnical survey campaign, during which Geoquip Marine drilled 23 composite sampling and testing boreholes to depths of 10–90 metres below the seabed over a 65‑day vessel programme to inform design of the fixed-bottom turbines and associated infrastructure.
