Description
Nexans Deutschland signed a contract with Dong Energy to deliver and install medium-voltage submarine inter-array cabling for the West of Duddon Sands offshore wind farm. The order comprised 122 km of submarine cable to connect the wind turbines to each other and to the transformer platforms, plus an additional 2 km of cable for internal platform cabling. Installation was scheduled to begin in summer 2013.
