Description

ScottishPower Renewables and DONG Energy signed a turbine supply agreement with Siemens on 27 June 2011 for the West of Duddon Sands offshore wind farm, covering 108 Siemens 3.6 MW turbines (389 MW total) along with a separate five-year maintenance contract. Turbine components are to be delivered to a purpose-built installation facility in Belfast, with the operational base for the wind farm located at the Port of Barrow.
