Description
JV Fabricom & Iemants NV constructed the West of Duddon Sands offshore substation platform for the transmission assets. Under a supply contract with the project developers’ joint venture, the company fabricated a four‑storey steel topside module mounted on a jacket foundation, providing the main offshore substation (OSP) structure that houses the transmission equipment. This work formed part of the construction phase of the West of Duddon Sands OFTO transmission system in the East Irish Sea.
