Description
Alstom supplied and installed the gas‑insulated switchgear for the West of Duddon Sands offshore substation. Under the OSP mechanical and electrical equipment package, Alstom provided two sets of 170 kV GIS switchgear, including delivery and installation on the offshore platform to interface the export circuits and transformers. This work formed a key part of the construction and electrical integration of the WoDS OFTO offshore transmission assets.
