On 1 April 2026, Luxcara began sounding out banks for more than €2 billion of debt financing for its 1.5 GW Waterekke offshore wind project on site N-9.3 in the German North Sea, according to market sources. The total project cost is indicated in the range of €3.5–4.5 billion, and Green Giraffe is acting as Luxcara’s financial adviser for this financing process.
