Description
Scaldis was appointed by DONG Walney (UK) Ltd as the installation contractor for the offshore substation platform on the Walney II Transmission Assets. Under DONG Energy’s multi‑contract delivery strategy, Scaldis was responsible for the offshore transport, heavy‑lift installation and setting of the OSP jacket and topside at the Walney 2 site, including placing the structure on its piles and supporting offshore hook‑up activities during the construction phase prior to transfer of the assets to the OFTO.
