Ofgem completed its initial calculation of the transfer value for the Walney 2 transmission assets in July 2009, determining a figure of £104.4 million. This "initial transfer value" was communicated to the developer and published in the preliminary information memorandum to inform the early stages of the Transitional Tender Round 1 process for appointing an OFTO.
