Description
Scaldis was contracted by DONG Walney (UK) Ltd. to install the offshore substation platform for the Walney 1 Transmission Assets. Its construction-phase scope covered offshore lifting and placement of the multi-storey topside and associated jacket foundation on the pre-installed piles, completing installation of the single offshore substation that collects power from the Walney 1 turbines and exports it to shore.
