Description
RES was awarded an operations and maintenance contract by Blue Transmission Walney 1 Ltd to service the offshore transmission (OFTO) assets associated with Walney 1. Under this O&M-phase agreement RES provides scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, site management, logistics and control-centre services for the OFTO system, including the 132 kV export cable, offshore substation and onshore substation at Heysham. The scope includes delivery of all high-voltage services for Walney 1 OFTO, 24/7/365 monitoring from RES’s control centre, marine coordination, and subsea inspections to support reliable cable and asset performance.
