NMCN was engaged on the Viking Link project to construct the access road to the UK HVDC converter station site at Bicker Fen in Lincolnshire. Its work involved delivery of permanent road and associated civil infrastructure to enable heavy construction equipment and, later, operational vehicles to access the converter station. The access road formed a key enabling element of the UK converter station construction programme led by Siemens Energy.
