Description
Next Geosolutions was contracted by Prysmian Group to carry out marine survey works in support of route engineering and design for the Viking Link interconnector. The scope covered full geophysical, geotechnical and UXO investigations across onshore, nearshore and offshore phases. In‑field operations commenced in May 2020 with the mobilization of the DP2 MPSV Ievoli Amber and the Roxanne Z multi‑cat from Great Yarmouth to perform site investigation activities necessary for route design and engineering. The surveys were intended to inform cable routing, burial and installation planning and to provide data for environmental and consenting outputs.
