Description
GeoPura partnered with Siemens Energy to install a zero‑emission hydrogen fuel cell and supporting battery storage to provide off‑grid power during the construction of the Viking Link UK converter station. The system supplied electrical power, heating and battery buffering for construction site facilities and helped avoid diesel generators while the site lacked a grid connection during the build period.
