Revenue Secured

Ofgem published its Final Project Assessment decision on 30 September 2020 and set provisional cap-and-floor revenue levels applicable to National Grid’s 50% share of Viking Link. Based on Ofgem’s FPA allowances (using the FID date noted above), the provisional annual cap was set at £111.5 million and the provisional floor at £61.7 million (2019/20 prices). The decision confirmed the regime parameters (including a 93.4% availability target) while noting final cap/floor values would be confirmed at Post Construction Review.
