Planning Consent Submitted

National Grid Viking Link Limited (NGVL) submitted full planning applications for the UK Onshore Scheme to four local planning authorities (Boston Borough Council; East Lindsey District Council; North Kesteven District Council; South Holland District Council). The applications (submitted 24 August 2017) included the converter station at North Ing Drove, onshore DC and AC cable routes, transition joint bay and landfall works, temporary construction compounds and associated drainage and access works. The project’s Environmental Statement was submitted as part of these planning applications.
