The European Commission formally included the Revsing (Denmark) – Bicker Fen (UK) interconnector (known as Viking Link) on the Union list of Projects of Common Interest (PCI) by publication in the Official Journal. The listing (PCI no. 1.14) recognised Viking Link as a cross‑border priority project supporting EU energy integration and the transition to low‑carbon power, making it eligible for streamlined project support measures under the PCI framework. The action was effected through a Commission Delegated Regulation published in the Official Journal on 26 January 2016 and appears in subsequent PCI annexes.
